The track features a black background color highlighted with bright neon-colored lines spread out as a grid that covers the track and makes the edges of it easier to see. The ball rolls forward the moment the player accesses the race area.
The player can start via a play button or level button selection. The player's only goal is to keep the ball on the track until the end of each level.
Extreme Run 3D is a levels-style three-dimensional racing game that features a ball instead of a stickman or other character, vehicle or some type of non-rolling object.
